Foliage.org: What are some other popular tourist attractions for autumn travelers to Greenbrier County? What are some of the less well known, but much loved local attractions?
Greenbrier County offers a host of attractions to visitors. Outdoor enthusiasts will enjoy the Greenbrier River Trail, a 78-mile trail running along the Greenbrier River from Caldwell to Cass. Both provide venues for performing artists with a stellar schedule of events. Visitors may also enjoy a visit to Watts Roost Vineyard, a winery that’s nestled at the foot of Muddy Creek Mountain. French hybrid grapes thrive and award-winning wine is created onsite. Tastings and tours are available. Finally, kids might enjoy a visit to the National Fish Hatchery in White Sulphur Springs. Producing 10 million trout eggs annually and restoring freshwater mussels, the Hatchery is open for guided and self-guided tours.
