Foliage.org: What are the projected dates for Lexington, Virginia peak foliage season?
Typically the last ten days of October and the first ten days of November will find you the greatest color with the highest intensity one of front end of that. It is mid-September now and last night I saw my first red leaves. I didn’t get close enough to identify but I imagine that were sumac, or Virginia Creeper.
