Foliage.org: What are the projected dates for Vermont 2009 peak foliage season?
It’s difficult to predict when foliage will peak. The busiest time during foliage is the last week in September and the first two weeks of October. Generally, foliage starts in mid-September in the northern part of the state and in higher elevations and goes from there.

Beautiful foliage can be found in every community in Vermont. Some popular
destinations and regions during foliage include Manchester, Woodstock, the Mad River Valley, and the Northeast Kingdom.
